Hair care tools also need care.

If you dream of thick and shiny hair, then you need to care not only for the hair itself, but also for the tools with which, in fact, you do this care - for combs, irons, hair bands, etc. All items involved in hair care must be clean, otherwise it is simply impossible to maintain the ideal condition of the hair and hairstyle in general.
Combs and brushes
Learning how to properly clean your brushes and combs is very important. Wherever you store your combs, they constantly absorb dust, sebum, and styling residues, thus serving as a breeding ground for germs that get on your hair.
Start the cleaning process by removing any trapped hair from the brush. Then take your old toothbrush and gently rinse the comb with a little shampoo. The combs should be washed at least once every one to two weeks.
Wooden brushes and combs from regular wet cleaning can quickly deteriorate, so only dry care is recommended for them - remove dirt with a dry toothbrush, and then wipe the teeth with a cotton pad moistened with alcohol or a damp cloth.
After brushing, soak all other combs (rubber and plastic) in a container with water and shampoo for 5-7 minutes to remove the dirt a little. You can also use dish soap instead of shampoo. Make sure you remove all dirt before starting drying. Dry the combs on a cotton or linen towel with the cloves down.
Irons and curling irons
Once you've finished cleaning your combs, you also need to take care of your hair styling appliances. Curling irons, hair irons, and also heat rollers fall into this category. If the plates of the irons and curling iron are heavily soiled, then they do not warm up evenly, which can harm your hair. Before starting cleaning, make sure the appliance is warm, but not hot or cold. If it is cold, plug it in for a few minutes, then turn it off and let it cool so that it does not feel hot to the touch, and be sure to unplug the power cord.
All dirt can be removed with a soft towel dipped in warm water. The main thing is that the towel does not scratch the surface of the plates. At the same time, their heat will itself speed up cleaning. If you are cleaning a curling iron or using an iron to curl your hair, you must wipe the entire appliance, not just the inner surfaces.
Remove especially stubborn dirt with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. After cleaning, wipe off the device with a clean, dry cloth, and be sure to air dry before use. Under no circumstances should a wet device be used. It can damage your hair. Ideally, irons and curling irons should be cleaned after each use.
Hot rollers are easy to clean - you can hold them in warm water with soapy water, and then rinse and be sure to let them dry completely.
Various elastic bands and hairpins that help us fix our hair and just collect our hair, over time, too, get dirty. It is also recommended to clean them.
White vinegar is an excellent cleaner for hair care devices. It is enough to spray a little white vinegar on the item to be cleaned and then wipe it down with a clean cloth. With the antibacterial properties of white vinegar, you can quickly and easily remove bacteria from your tools. Well, to make spraying easier, pour vinegar into a spray bottle. After these steps, you can start drying or styling your hair with a hairdryer.
